There are 2 (two) conditions for the Quote to be converted to Sales Invoice.
1) Quote must have Approved status
2) Quote must be marked as Accepted
Once the Quote is marked as Accepted, you will see Generate Invoice blue button will appear in the Quote
You can click the blue button Generate Invoice.
The invoice will be saved as Draft in Sales Invoice Draft tab.
